The charming old town of Corfu, with its colourful streets, bewitches all those who visit it. Historically, the different cultures that occupied the island have all left their marks: arcade type houses left by the French Empire, the remains of the Venetian fortress, the King's Palace built by the British at the beginning of the twentieth century, which now houses the Asian museum. Kommeno is a peninsula with exclusive villas, situated between the villages of Dassia and Gouvia. Both offer a wide choice of shops, cafes and restaurants to tempt visitors.
